MARTA Bus Accident Injures 19 People in Fulton County

According to Atlanta police dispatchers, a MARTA bus ran off Nathan Road at Brownlee Place and struck a tree. The wreck involved no other vehicles. A spokesperson for MARTA said that 19 people, including the bus driver, were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Currently there is no information on the extent of their injuries. The spokesperson had no information on the cause of the crash or if the heavy rains of the morning were a factor in the bus accident. No citations were issued in the wreck.
