Truck Carrying Explosives Involved in an Atlanta Accident on I-285

May 27, 2011 - Atlanta, Ga - A 4-vehicle car accident occurred on Interstate 285 in Dekalb County, on Thursday afternoon.

The Atlanta car accident involved a truck transporting 36,900 pounds of explosives. Thankfully, the explosives were properly secured and did not spill on to the highway causing any damages or injuries.

The 4-vehicle car accident resulted in a couple lanes on Interstate 285 to shut down.
