Recently, a driver was injured in a side impact car accident in Winston. The accident occurred on Hwy 78 near Post Road. Only one person was injured in the accident. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the incident. The driver who collided against the other driver was cited with running a stop sign and reckless driving.

The injured person was taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment.
